On Saturday December 12th, members of the Huntingdon Valley Fire Company attended the company’s Annual Firefighter Appreciation Night. Each year, our firefighters are recognized for their dedication and service to the community. Several members received service awards ranging from 3 years to 50 years of active service along with two members who were individually recognized by the Chief and President for outstanding service to the company. Sergeant Joseph Bannon is the proud recipient of the 2015 Chief’s Award and Emil Dix received the 2015 President’s award.
We would also like to recognize our neighboring mutual aid departments of Abington Fire Company, Bryn Athyn Fire Company, Enterprise Fire Company of Hatboro, and Feasterville Fire Company who were in attendance along with representatives from Lower Moreland Township and Lower Moreland Police Department.
