Water Rescue Training – 9/8/14

HVFC conducted a water rescue class at the LMHS pool Monday evening,  taught by Lt. Becker and Sgt. Applebaum. Firefighters must receive specialized training to respond to people trapped in flood waters. Unfortunately we are too often called out when people foolishly drive into flooded roads thinking they can make it and they don’t, unnecessarily risking their lives and ours.
