On August 19th at 6:25 PM, HVFC was dispatched for a vehicle rescue involving multiple vehicles at the intersection of Huntingdon Pike and Spur Road. Rescue crews from Huntingdon Valley Fire Company, Bryn Athyn Fire Company and Southampton Fire Company No. 1 worked to extricate 3 victims from the vehicles. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, the other two victims were transported to area hospitals by Bryn Athyn Ambulance andSecond Alarmer’s Association and Rescue Squad of Montgomery County
