HVFC was dispatched at 3:28 pm on Jan 21, 2016 for a dwelling fire on the 400 block of Welsh Road. LMPD confirmed house well involved. Chief 8 established command and ordered exterior attack as resident got out and firefighters encountered heavy fire load. Crews went in service with heaviest water lines. Assisting us today were units from Rockledge 9, Willow Grove 10, Bryn Athyn 11, Hatboro 95, Abington 100, McKinley 200, 8 and 95 Fire Police, North Penn Canteen, Bryn Athyn and Montco Second Alarmers EMS.
